Disney Date Ideas

Most people dream of finding happily ever after. If you’re near Disney World or doing the Disney College Program, having dates at Disney World are a wonderful luxury that I highly recommend taking advantage of if it makes sense for you.

In another blog post, you can read my thoughts and advice on dating during the Disney College Program. If you choose to have Disney World dates, here are my suggestions for really fun and special date ideas that are sure to impress!

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Hollywood Studios

Take “dinner & a movie” to the next level at this restaurant in Hollywood Studios. If you haven’t eaten here before, it’s a dimly-lit restaurant with tables themed to look like 1950s-era cars. And there is a huge movie screen to give the feeling of a classic drive-in movie theater. And the milkshakes are sooooo good! Highly recommend!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom

This seasonal event at Magic Kingdom is super fun. You can go trick-or-treating for candy, go on rides with shorter wait times, see exclusive shows, and meet rare characters! Whatever you and your partner prefer to do, you can do it during this event with a shorter wait time. And the cutest part is that you can coordinate your costumes for the event to make it known that you two are there together!

Pin Trading Date in Magic Kingdom

I thoroughly believe that a date is better when you have an activity to do together, especially if you’ve only recently started dating. It can help give you something to do while you get to know each other. If you’re both into pin trading, I highly recommend doing a pin trading date.

Magic Kingdom is a great park to do this in just because there are so many cast members who can pin trade with you in this park. You can spend hours and hours just walking around the park pin trading and talking.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom

Again, this provides an activity to do during the date while you get to know each other. And you don’t have to wait in line for anything while playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. This activity is something that most people haven’t done, so it can be a fun, new experience for both of you!

Become Wilderness Explorers at Animal Kingdom

Just like with Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, people often don’t get around to becoming Wilderness Explorers by getting all the badges. Take a day and get all the badges together! And, once you are both officially Wilderness Explorers, take a photo together with Russell & Doug from the movie “Up”.

Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom

You get to eat several beautiful, small desserts before watching the fireworks show within a reserved viewing area. As I’m sure you can imagine, this is super special and romantic!

Hopefully this has given you some ideas. Let me know of your favorite Disney World date activities!
