Must-Have Essie Nail Polishes

I have a much larger nail polish collection than I would like to admit. But that does mean that I have tried a lot of different formulas and colors of nail polish, and I definitely have strong opinions. One of the brands that I really like is Essie, and I’ve had a lot of Essie nail polishes throughout my life. And today I have compiled my favorite Essie nail polishes for you. I will go through them in the order they appear in this photo (from left to right).

Bikini So Teeny

A classic pale blue color with a tiny bit of shimmer (barely noticeable once applied) and I always get compliments when I wear it. I have been complimented more wearing this nail polish than any other.

Winning Streak

This is a go-to for me in the Fall/Winter. It’s a darker, dusty, muted purple color, and it’s so muted that it really becomes a very neutral shade that won’t clash with any other colors you’re wearing.

Imported Bubbly

This is my absolute favorite Essie nail polish, and I have owned several bottles of this throughout my life thus far. It’s a beautiful satiny light champagne color. I love that it’s a classic neutral color but that it isn’t just the standard crème finish. The satin finish gives it a bit more interest and it catches the light perfectly, but it’s still a perfect neutral polish that won’t clash with anything ever.

Tuck it in My Tux

This is a beautiful white nail polish but it’s not opaque at all, even after several coats. The way I like to use this nail polish is as a base color for a French tip manicure. I think its translucence in contrast with a stark white tip is really pretty. This polish is also good on its own for a look that is very understated.

Loot the Booty

This is a bold color. It’s a dark royal blue with sparkles. It’s definitely a statement and sometimes it’s nice to make a statement. When I’m feeling bold, this is a nail polish that I really gravitate towards.

Too Too Hot

This is a fiery red color that is perfect for Summer and late Spring. I prefer darker reds in the Fall and Winter (and whenever I want to feel fancy) but this is lighter and brighter. It’s not neon, but it’s that step below neon which makes it more wearable than neon but still super fun and exciting.

Let me know if you’ve tried any of these shades of nail polish and what you thought of them! And I’m super curious to know what your favorite Essie nail polishes are so that I can take your recommendations!
